Description

Founded by Walter Uden in the middle of the 19th century and incorporated as a Limited Company in 1881 our first branches were in Ilderton Road, Peckham and Southwark Park Road, Bermondsey. Over time Walter and his sons expanded to other areas in South East London opening branches in New Cross, another branch in Peckham, Dulwich and Forest Hill. We have always “lived above the shop” and as we have been born and brought up in South East London we are delighted to continue to serve our local communities as we have for nearly 170 years.
