North Finchley Tutors was founded in 2017 and is a collaboration between the late Mr Philip Chan and 11 plus specialist, Ali Baig, widely recognised as one of the best entrance exams teachers. The joint aim of our centre is to provide exceptional supplementary educational classes (private tuition) for children of all ages, from primary school and supporting them all the way up to university entrance level. After decades of teaching and examining, Chan and Baig realised that teaching within the traditional school system was stifling student creativity, rather than developing a love of learning.This was the starting point of the company. Together, they formed a syllabus - shaped by years of experience which successfully teaches the skills required to pass examinations but in a personal, accessible and engaging way.
