Description

Just a few steps away from the main Piazza is Flat Iron Covent Garden, our largest Flat Iron. Sitting on Henrietta Street, it was originally home to Pearson Weekly, a weekly periodical, and the first ever crossword published in the UK. We fell in love with the 1892 tiled frontage, and were blown away when we uncovered an original mosaic floor when fitting out. We’re proud to have worked with sculptor and cabinetmaker Dan Preston to create all the tables in the restaurant using timber from a single English oak tree. Here, you’ll find an in-house butchery, where our master butcher Scott practises his craft. Alongside our signature Flat Iron steak and sides, in Covent Garden we serve beef prepared in the butchery which is supplied by carefully chosen farmers and small producers across the UK. Every week a different carcass of the highest quality rare, native and uncommon beef is delivered and prepared.
