Unfortunately I have to give a star rating....otherwise there would be no stars for this review. Very bad service for transfer from Gatwick to Kingsbury. we arrived at Gatwick airport and didnt see our driver or had any calls from him so contacted the office who said that the driver was stuck in traffic and will be about half hour. After 45mins and no updates we rang again and said he is on his way still. Over an hour passed since we arrived in arrivals and no updates were given to us by the office. After another call we were told the driver is 3mins and therefore will meet us at pick up point. We kept on roaming around the pick up point looking for the driver for another hour - and after numerous phone calls telling the driver we were at pick up point in car park 6 on Ground Floor, he turned out to be in car park 5 on 3rd floor!! When we finally met the driver he started putting our suitcases in and wanted 4 of us to sit in the back (in a 7seater) which is meant for only 3 passengers. He also insisted we pay for the parking and upon refusing to do so he started to take our suitcases out of the car. We rang the office and told them what the driver was doing, they spoke to the driver and told him to pay the parking. In the end being a group of 5 girls we didnt feel safe getting into a car where the driver was very angry at us therefore we decided to pay nearly double and get a airport taxi. At no point did we get an apology from the driver or the office. Our pick up should have been 6pm but didnt actually meet the driver til after 9pm. Thats over 3hours waiting, dont think that is acceptable at all!!!! To us it seems like they had actually forgot about our booking and sent a driver when we rang at 6pm. Instead of being honest they just used traffic as an excuse and after checking the traffic news for that day we didnt come across any problems on the M25, proving the fact that they are just a bunch of LIARS!!! I have used numeruous taxi firms before and have never come across such service. Hence felt I have to write my first review ever!!! They may be 5quid cheaper but pay the extra cash, otherwise you might be left stranded!!!!
